Hello! My name is Maricarmen Cruz and I am the owner of Crossroads Counseling & Wellness. I am a Mental Health Counselor Intern registered with the Florida Department of Health, #IMH23006. My supervisor is Danielle Guinaugh, LMHC, #MH13829. I provide in-person individual therapy sessions in Tampa, Florida as well as telehealth sessions for any Florida resident.
I work with young adults, college students, millennials, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community using a mix of mindfulness, strength-based, and solution-focused approaches to help clients process and overcome difficult moments in their lives. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy to treat single-incident and complex trauma my clients have experienced. Each person I work with is unique and therefore, every therapy session will be tailored specifically to your needs.
